In 2011, we aim to achieve the targets noted below:

| Conduct detailed technical closure reviews at all sites that are within three years of closing. | |
| Certify Newmont Boddington Gold Mine in Australia to ISO 14001. | |
| Disclose Newmont's global greenhouse gas emissions to The Climate Registry. | |
| Conduct an analysis of water related issues within Newmont and develop a 2012 plan for conducting a comprehensive review of Newmont operation's water management including practices, water related risks, and views from the perspective of our communities and local stakeholders. | |
